Oil was changed out about 4 months ago and the spark plugs were swapped with Bosch iridium’s which were set to the correct spacing before installation. This was a permanent code that was on my vehicle. Yep, years. I had it inspected last month and it passed, the next day my engine light came on. Ive had a P0421 + CEL for at LEAST 3-4 years. 2002 Mazda Protege5 engine light came on. I’ve got a Mazda Protege 02 around 166k miles.
