* Several routes have had a trainer upgraded to Route Boss. (This does break their dialogue, but that has no real consequences) You can use it to bypass some of the grind (if you don't already hack in candies) or sell it to get your money anyway. * Children (Youngster, Lass, Twins etc.) have limited pocket money, so they no longer reward money and give you their favorite (Rare) Candy instead. For example, Slugma now evolves at level 23, giving you a tanky rock-type for Lenora. * Evolution levels for some pokemon have been adjusted to make them more usable. The exact encounter percentages have been added to the documentation so nuzlockers can plan better. Mawile, Carnivine) have been made available earlier. Pokemon that are useful early but fall off later (e.g. * Wild encounters have been adjusted a bit to give encounters more useful for what comes directly afterwards. This will give access to a greater variety of encounters, and also give additional encounters to make Nuzlocking easier. * The fishing rod is now available by beating one of the Youngsters before the 1st Gym. Now, it's taken a while (seriously Gen 5 has so many trainers), so I'll go over both changes and additions separately. Rivals and Gym Leaders use full teams, and all trainers use the champion level AI so they will act logically. * Opposing trainers have teams built around certain themes or strategies, rather than just 6 strong pokemon. All non-legendary pokemon are available, and their locations have often been adjusted so they have their time to shine. * Wild encounter have been changed drastically. I'll give a quick overview of the core features, but if you'd like more in-depth reasoning, I'd like to refer to my post for v1.0. So I decided to make a hack that I would like to see, and hopefully some of you will enjoy it as well. I also like difficulty hacks to spice things up a bit, but I've never quite jived with the Drayano-style hacks where all the pokemon are so different from what I used to. Gen 5 is easily one of my favorite generations of the games. To celebrate, here's some quick box art I drafted up with an image I found on Pinterest.
